Vision 4 Change aims to help school kids in South Africa through the impactful project we run. Our main focus is on two basic needs, namely vision and hearing. We believe that you can put a child in the best surroundings, but if they cannot see or hear, they can’t be properly educated.
WHERE DO WE RUN OUR PROJECTS? - ANYWHERE in South Africa where YOU, the sponsor, want us to go.
CHANGING LIVES…TOGETHER
OUR TWO MAIN PROJECTS
Our VISION IS VITAL & GEAR 2 HEAR projects are our main projects and address two social issues, namely Education & Health, simultaneously.
These projects are primarily aimed at underprivileged children whose parents either can’t afford a consultation or have the necessary means to access treatment. By testing and giving those who need prescription spectacles or hearing aids, we help them through HEALTH intervention to perform better and thus improve EDUCATION.
We go to schools anywhere in SA to test children’s eyes and those who need receive prescription spectacles (for more details on the project, please contact us)
We go to schools anywhere in SA to test children’s hearing ability and supply those in need with hearing aids (for more details on the project, please contact us)
OTHER / AD HOC CHARITABLE SERVICES:
Projects providing direct support to individuals or groups in need.
Branded stationary bags with stationary which is appropriate for each school phase.
Health packs are tailored to your requirements, but include, but are not limited to toothbrush, toothpaste, facecloth, and soap.
At sponsors or schools request, we assist children in need with school clothes or all the kids in a school with school shoes, beanies/scarves/glove combos, school backpacks, or whatever the need is.
On request of sponsors or community needs we supply food to centres for special need people, schools, old age homes or childrens homes.
When visiting schools or communities, or from sponsors, we do various ad hoc projects such as fixing a water pump at a farm school, assisting a children’s home with bedding, painting of classrooms, supply of educational toys for ECD centres, blankets, etc, etc, whatever the need!
These projects demonstrate our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve. We're proud of the progress we've made and look forward to continuing our mission.
After each project, a sponsor receives a project-specific report with all the details about the project and photos.
